A new baby is the most precious gift that you will ever experience. Holding those tiny little bundles of joy is the highlight of my day. Each and every baby is beautiful and special in their own unique way. I always love going through the photos after the session and finding that group of magical portraits.
I am the mother of four (including twins!) and married to a great guy. My twin daughters were only 3 and 4 pounds when they were born so I am very familiar with handling precious little preemies. The experience of having preemie babies has made me hyper aware of the importance of keeping a high standard of a clean environment to welcome your new baby into. My studio is professionally cleaned before each session along with everything that touches your baby.
I used to teach kindergarten, so I love working with the older siblings that come into my studio and I like to make them feel special during the photo session. Some of my favorite photos are the ones with older brother or sister hugging their new baby. It’s moments like that, that make everyone smile when they see the portraits for the first time. I cannot tell you how many times the parents have called after viewing their gallery and tell me how they both teared up with joy while watching the slideshow for the first time.
I feel so blessed when my clients bring their babies back to me as their little one grows up! It is so much fun to see the changes that have happened in such a short period of time.
I have always loved art so designing birth announcements or helping someone begin their portrait gallery at their house is truly a joy for me.
I hope everyone thinks of their portraits as a piece of art to hang in their home forever. I promise that these portraits will be your most treasured possessions as the years go by.
